OLSPAB Constitution Amendment Committee Holds Fourth Meeting to Finalize Draft Proposals

On December 23, 2024, the fourth meeting of OLSPAB Constitution Amendment Committee was held at OLSPAB Boardroom to advance discussions on draft proposals for amending the constitution of OLSPAB. This meeting built on the outcomes of the previous meetings, including two Focused Group Discussions (FGDs) with members and Executive Council, and submissions received via Expressions of Interest (EoI) from OLSPAB members.

The meeting, presided over by Joint Conveners Mr. A Towhid, Founding President, OLSPAB and Mr. Habibullah N Karim, Former President, OLSPAB, welcomed newly co-opted Associate Committee members, Engr. Rafel Kabir, Chairman, Associate Committee, OLSPAB, along with Engr. Md. Mijanur Rahman to enhance the reactivated committee's efforts in finalizing the draft proposals. Discussions highlighted the importance of continued stakeholder consultation, with a two-week timeline set for finalizing the proposals, which will then be shared with all members of OLSPAB to ensure collective consensus.

Other respected committee members contributing to the deliberations included Mr. Syed Mamnun Quader, Former Senior Vice President, OLSPAB; Ms. Farhana Rahman, Former Senior Vice President; Mr. Shoeb Ahmed Masud, Former Vice President (Admin); and Mr. Hashim Ahmed, Secretary, OLSPAB.
